The Inaugural Lecture of Prof Ester Oras on May 7

On May 7, Professor of Archaeochemistry and the founder of Archemy, Ester Oras delivered an inaugural lecture titled “Biomolecular Ancient Science: From a Roman Bronze Lamp to a Paradigm Shift in Science.” („Biomolekulaarne muinasteadus: Rooma pronkslambist teadusparadigma muutuseni.“)

The lecture introduced biomolecular archaeology as an innovative research field that bridges the humanities and the natural sciences, revealing new and fascinating molecular‑level insights into the lives of people in the past.
